How Abaddon and Gyrocopter perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Abaddon and Gyrocopter win 47.81% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,035 matches.
Placing Aphotic Shield on a Gyrocopter often feels like a stopgap that doesn't solve the real problem. He’s so fragile that the shield’s damage barrier can vaporize in an instant, and even with the dispel, he still lacks a true escape. While both heroes can play aggressively together in the early game, their ideal fight positioning pulls them apart later. Abaddon wants to be in the fray, absorbing spells and applying Curse of Avernus. Gyrocopter, however, needs to kite on the edge of the teamfight to get the most out of Flak Cannon. This separation makes it difficult for Abaddon to land his key saves, leaving Gyrocopter exposed when he needs help most.
