How Abaddon and Huskar perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Abaddon and Huskar win 47.45% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,684 matches.
Saving a low-health Huskar seems straightforward with Abaddon on your team, but the reality is more complicated. Huskar gets immense attack speed from Berserker's Blood at low HP, and Abaddon's Aphotic Shield provides a crucial dispel to let him keep fighting through stuns. The main issue is that Abaddon's ultimate, Borrowed Time, only saves himself. Without a very expensive Aghanim's Scepter, Abaddon’s strongest defensive ability offers no direct protection to a diving Huskar. This often leaves Huskar vulnerable to being focused down by the enemy team, while Abaddon can only offer a single-target shield and a heal that damages himself, which might not be enough to turn the tide.
