Why this works

Having Lifestealer use Infest on Abaddon creates a durable, two-stage frontliner. The plan is for Abaddon to charge into the fight, drawing fire while protected by Aphotic Shield. When enemies commit their burst damage, Borrowed Time activates, keeping him alive and healing him through it all. This chaos gives Lifestealer the perfect opportunity to emerge at full health, right in the middle of a team that has already spent its major cooldowns trying to bring down the initial threat. It's a simple but effective way to force a messy, drawn-out engagement where both heroes excel.

The effectiveness of this duo hinges entirely on the enemy's discipline. If they panic and unload everything on Abaddon, Lifestealer gets a free cleanup fight. Wary opponents, however, will simply kite Abaddon and hold their spells, refusing to take the bait. They can choose to disengage or focus on other targets, waiting for Lifestealer to reveal himself before committing their resources.
