Abaddon + Zeus

Why this works

Keeping a high-damage Zeus alive through a fight is Abaddon's main contribution here. An Aphotic Shield can be all it takes to remove a critical stun or silence, letting Zeus get his spells off before he dies. This protection allows Zeus to play a bit more forward than he’d normally like, knowing there's a strong dispel and potential healing ready to save him from the enemy's initial jump. If the fight gets messy, Abaddon’s presence can discourage enemies from fully committing onto Zeus, because they know they have to chew through an extra layer of defense to secure the kill.

This plan works best when the enemy has telegraphed, single-target initiation. However, the pairing offers very little control or lockdown on its own. Abaddon can’t set up kills for Zeus, so they often rely on the rest of their team to find an opening. Smart opponents will try to split their focus or simply burst Zeus down before a save is possible. Because the synergy is purely defensive and doesn't offer a way to reliably start or control a fight, its impact feels pretty situational. It patches a weakness but doesn't create a major new strength.
