Anti-Mage + Void Spirit

Why this works

Running two elusive, item-dependent cores can create a difficult team dynamic. Void Spirit typically wants to be active around the map once he gets his first few items, looking for kills to build a lead. Anti-Mage, on the other hand, wants to avoid fighting and focus entirely on farming his way to his late-game items. This means their timings don't align well. Instead of creating space for one another, they often end up competing for the safest farm on the map, slowing both of them down. Neither hero provides the hard lockdown that would help the other secure their burst damage on a target.

This leaves the team feeling fragile during the mid-game. When opponents group up to push towers or take Roshan, there's often no solid frontline or big teamfight spell to stop them. The lineup depends on both Anti-Mage and Void Spirit finding separate, opportunistic pickoffs. Without strong setup from their supports, they can find it hard to convert their mobility and damage into objectives, making it difficult to establish control of the game before the enemy's own plan comes online.
