Arc Warden + Zeus

Why this works

Committing to this duo is a bet on long-range magical damage. Zeus is great at finding and damaging enemies anywhere on the map with Thundergod's Wrath. That global vision and damage can create opportunities for Arc Warden. An enemy hero caught alone by Zeus's ultimate becomes a perfect target for Flux, since they can't easily find a friendly unit to break the spell. The Tempest Double can also be pre-positioned to follow up on a Lightning Bolt gank, creating a sudden burst of damage that's difficult for the enemy to anticipate.

This plan relies on keeping enemies at a distance, because the pair offers very little lockdown. Without stuns from other teammates, opponents can often walk away or use a Black King Bar to ignore the damage. This forces Arc Warden and Zeus to play from the edges of the fight, slowly chipping away at the enemy. Their success often comes down to whether they can apply enough pressure from afar to force a mistake before the enemy can coordinate a dive to get on top of them.
