Axe + Medusa

Why this works

A good Berserker's Call creates the perfect setup for Medusa. The entire enemy team is forced to group up and face the same direction—right toward her. She can then use Stone Gaze to petrify anyone caught in the taunt, giving her free rein to unload damage with Split Shot while they're helpless. Axe provides the lockdown and groups them up perfectly, and Medusa supplies the massive area damage to wipe them out from a safe distance. It's a clean and powerful initiation that a disorganized team has almost no way to play around.

Beyond that one big combo, the pairing works across the whole game. Axe is an early-game powerhouse who creates constant pressure and draws enemy attention. This gives Medusa the secure space she needs to farm her expensive items and hit her timings. Opponents are often forced into a difficult choice: deal with the Axe who is currently ruining their lanes, or try to gank the Medusa who represents a huge late-game threat. This constant pressure usually guarantees the game goes long enough for Medusa to come online and take over.
