Beastmaster + Monkey King

Why this works

Pairing Beastmaster and Monkey King often creates a conflict over the game's pace. Beastmaster wants to group up early with his summons to pressure objectives after hitting his first major power spike. Monkey King, however, typically needs more farm and items before he can confidently fight inside Wukong's Command. Their core ultimates also have poor synergy. Primal Roar shoves enemies away from the fight, which can easily push a key target out of Monkey King's ultimate and completely waste the setup. This fundamental clash makes executing clean fights very difficult.

This dynamic forces a difficult choice. Playing to Beastmaster's tempo means Monkey King is underfarmed and fragile for crucial fights. Waiting for Monkey King to get his items means squandering Beastmaster's most powerful timing window, letting the enemy team scale comfortably instead. Opponents can exploit this indecision by either punishing the weak early fights or by simply out-farming a lineup that struggles to use its own strengths. The team is often caught playing against its own awkward timings.
