Beastmaster + Zeus

Why this works

Setting up a kill with Primal Roar requires the team to follow up with immediate, focused damage. Beastmaster provides the stun and vision, but he relies on his allies to confirm the elimination. Zeus brings a huge amount of magic damage to a fight, but it's often spread across the entire enemy team rather than concentrated on a single hero. While Thundergod's Wrath can be useful for revealing positions or securing a kill on a fleeing enemy, it doesn't provide the single-target burst needed to capitalize on Beastmaster's initiation during the stun duration.

This lack of focused follow-up means enemies can sometimes survive what should be a guaranteed kill. After Beastmaster commits his ultimate, the target might get away because the damage isn't concentrated enough. The core game plans can feel disconnected: Beastmaster wants to create a pickoff and then push objectives with his summons, while Zeus excels at sustained, long-range magical harassment. They aren't actively working against each other, but they don't directly amplify what the other hero wants to accomplish in a fight.
