Clinkz + Phantom Lancer

Why this works

Fighting into a swarm of Phantom Lancer illusions forces enemies to spend their spells and attention on clearing fakes. This chaos makes it difficult to track cooldowns or positions, creating a perfect window for an ally to strike. Clinkz can use this distraction to his advantage, slipping past the front line with Skeleton Walk to find an isolated support. By the time the enemy team realizes Clinkz is on their back line, their key defensive spells have often already been wasted on illusions, leaving the target vulnerable to a quick burst of arrows.

The general game plan is to overwhelm the map with two distinct problems. Phantom Lancer creates sustained pushing pressure and teamfight chaos, while Clinkz offers pickoff potential and single-target siege. This can fall apart, however, if the enemy draft contains enough area-of-effect magic damage to deal with both heroes at once. The duo also lacks inherent lockdown and requires a fair amount of farm to get going, so a difficult laning stage can prevent them from ever establishing the map control they need to execute their strategy.
