How Clinkz and Winter Wyvern perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Clinkz and Winter Wyvern win 49.10% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 13,226 matches.
Using Winter's Curse on a key target creates an awkward situation for Clinkz. The cursed enemy becomes immune to all damage from Winter Wyvern's team, which means Clinkz cannot use his signature burst from stealth to finish them off. Instead, he must either wait for the curse to end or try to damage the other enemies who are clumped up attacking their ally. This runs counter to his entire game plan of isolating and deleting a single hero. While Winter Wyvern can offer a defensive Cold Embrace, her primary teamfight spell provides a setup that Clinkz is uniquely unsuited to capitalize on, making their combined impact feel disjointed.
