Doom + Juggernaut

Why this works

Facing a Doom and Juggernaut can feel like a no-win scenario. Doom's ultimate completely removes your most important hero from the equation, leaving them silenced and useless. This gives Juggernaut a huge opening to run at the back lines with Blade Fury or use Omnislash on a different hero without worrying about saves or counters from the Doomed target. The plan is simple: create a clean man-advantage from the start of the fight and roll over the rest of the team while they're scrambling to react.

In practice, though, the pairing can be awkward. Both Doom and Juggernaut are farm-intensive cores that want to occupy the safest parts of the map, and they can starve each other. They also don't solve each other's core problems. Doom lacks a reliable way to get on top of mobile heroes, and Juggernaut doesn't offer any lockdown to help him. If the enemy team can play spread out, it can be hard to get the ideal fight started. Their ultimates can even feel redundant, as using both on one hero is overkill, but splitting them requires good coordination.
