How Doom and Lifestealer perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Doom and Lifestealer win 48.80% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 38,368 matches.
Coordinating a gank often relies on the old Lifestealer Infest bomb inside a fast-moving Doom. It's a decent way to get Lifestealer on top of a target, and Doom's ultimate can lock that hero down for the kill. Beyond that initial burst, their plans can feel a bit redundant. Both heroes want to run at and kill one specific enemy. While they can focus fire effectively, they don't cover each other's weaknesses particularly well. Lifestealer provides the damage and Doom provides the big disable, but they can still be overwhelmed by teams that spread out or kite well. Their strategies are often parallel rather than deeply interconnected.
