Enigma + Witch Doctor

Why this works

Setting up for a teamfight with this duo means Enigma is looking to land a multi-hero Black Hole. This gives Witch Doctor a perfect opportunity to place Maledict on the captured targets and follow up with a full-duration Death Ward. When it works, the combined lockdown from Enigma and the amplified damage from Witch Doctor can end a fight before the enemy team can use their spells or items. The basic idea is to stack two powerful area denial ultimates on top of each other for maximum effect.

The shared weakness, however, is that both Black Hole and Death Ward are channeled spells. An aware enemy team will try to save stuns or silences specifically to interrupt one or both heroes. If Enigma gets his ultimate cancelled, the whole play fails. If Witch Doctor gets disabled, the Black Hole does very little damage on its own. This makes the combo reliant on the enemy team lacking the right disables or your team having enough counter-initiation to protect both channelers, turning big teamfights into a risky, all-or-nothing affair.
