How Gyrocopter and Timbersaw perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Gyrocopter and Timbersaw win 43.12% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,920 matches.
Drawing a fight out is how Timbersaw wins, giving him time to build Reactive Armor stacks and overwhelm targets with sustained pure damage. This is the opposite of what Gyrocopter wants. Gyro's power comes from a short burst window where he activates Flak Cannon and BKB to wipe a team before they can react. Timbersaw zips around creating chaos but offers none of the hard, reliable lockdown needed to hold enemies under a Call Down or let Gyrocopter right-click freely. You end up with two cores who have conflicting ideas of how a teamfight should go, and neither has the right tools to enable the other's plan.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
