How Gyrocopter and Storm Spirit perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Gyrocopter and Storm Spirit win 43.36% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,498 matches.
Running two such greedy cores often leaves the map feeling small, as both Gyrocopter and Storm Spirit need a lot of gold to hit their key item timings. This creates a conflict in tempo. Storm Spirit wants to constantly be looking for solo kills with Ball Lightning, creating space by forcing reactions. Gyrocopter, on the other hand, is a hero that wants to farm safely until he can group up and end the game with Flak Cannon. Their ideal game plans rarely line up, and they lack the lockdown to force teamfights on their own terms, making it difficult to convert Storm's early aggression into objectives for Gyrocopter.
