Gyrocopter + Zeus

Why this works

Finding enough farm for both Gyrocopter and Zeus is the core problem. Both heroes need a lot of gold and clear waves efficiently; Gyrocopter uses Flak Cannon while Zeus spams his spells to flash-farm. This creates a direct conflict over map resources, slowing down item progression for both cores. Their damage types also overlap significantly in the early and mid-game. You get a ton of area-of-effect magic burst but often lack the lockdown or sustained physical threat needed to bring down durable, single targets who build items to counter magic.

This economic pressure means the team often plays from behind. The enemy can exploit the fact that two of your most important heroes are competing for space by controlling the map and taking objectives. While a global Call Down and Thundergod's Wrath combo can look scary, it's not a reliable way to start a fight. A smart opponent will avoid grouping tightly, pressure whichever core is struggling more, and force engagements before Gyrocopter and Zeus have the items they need to be effective. The lineup feels fragile and is too easy to split apart.
