How Huskar and Lifestealer perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Huskar and Lifestealer win 47.22% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 27,532 matches.
Pairing these two often seems like a mistake, but the coordination can be surprisingly effective. The classic Lifestealer Infest into a Huskar Life Break is a potent ganking tool that can blow up a key target from a great distance. This gives the duo a strong way to start fights on their own terms. The trouble is that both heroes want to do the same job afterward: be the unkillable front-liner who runs at the enemy. This puts a huge strain on the draft, as both Huskar and Lifestealer require a lot of farm and team resources to function. If the initial jump doesn't secure a major advantage, the lineup can feel greedy and easy to kite.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
