Juggernaut + Winter Wyvern

Why this works

Setting up a big ultimate for Juggernaut seems like the plan here, but it's tricky. Winter's Curse makes the primary target immune to damage from your team, so a follow-up Omnislash does nothing to them. Juggernaut is forced to either hit the other heroes clumped around the curse or hold his ultimate entirely. The other major interaction, Cold Embrace, can also be a problem. While it saves Juggernaut from physical damage, it also freezes him in place. This can interrupt his own plan to use Blade Fury to escape or reposition, sometimes feeling more like a stun from a teammate than a save.

Across a game, this lack of direct synergy means the heroes often feel like they're operating on different plans. Winter Wyvern wants to control a teamfight and delay the enemy's attack, while Juggernaut wants to find a moment to commit hard with his ultimate. Success depends on careful communication. Wyvern has to use her ultimate on a less important target to let Juggernaut Omnislash the real threat, or only use Cold Embrace when he's already stunned and unable to act. Without that coordination, their key abilities can actively work against each other, leading to messy and unpredictable fights.
