Lifestealer + Io

Why this works

Forcing the enemy to play defensively across the entire map is the main goal here. With Lifestealer hidden inside Io using Infest, a single Relocate can bring both heroes onto an isolated target for a surprise gank. This pressure forces opponents to give up farm and stay grouped up earlier than they'd like. Io’s Tether then gives Lifestealer the movement speed needed to stick to a target after the initial burst, while other spells provide survivability. The threat of this global pressure alone can create a lot of space for the rest of your team to farm or push.

This strategy isn't without its risks, which is why the pairing isn't always dominant. A well-placed ward can spot the Relocate incoming, allowing the target to escape or their team to counter-initiate on Io. If the gank fails, both heroes have used their long-cooldown ultimates for nothing, creating a huge window for the enemy team to take objectives. The success of Lifestealer and Io often depends on outplaying enemy vision and dodging instant disables. If they can't land the initial kill, the commitment can easily backfire.
