Luna + Oracle

Why this works

Casting False Promise on Luna allows her to be much more aggressive when she gets jumped or uses Eclipse. Normally, she's a fragile carry who can get blown up if she's caught out of position. Oracle’s ultimate gives her a crucial window to survive that initial burst, keep attacking with her glaives, and hopefully turn the fight. After the effect ends, Oracle can rapidly heal Luna, often negating a huge amount of the damage she took. This makes diving the Luna a much riskier proposition, as it can be turned around completely.

However, the play is predictable and has clear counters. A coordinated team will simply disengage the moment they see False Promise, waiting out its duration before re-engaging. They can also use chain stuns on Luna to waste the timer or simply switch focus to Oracle himself. While the combination can save Luna from a bad situation, it doesn't create an overwhelming advantage on its own. Its success often depends more on the enemy's mistakes or lack of coordination than on the inherent power of the pairing, leading to inconsistent results from game to game.
