Monkey King + Sniper

Why this works

Holding targets inside Wukong's Command for Sniper to shoot seems like a good plan, but it rarely works out. Enemy teams will either turn and burst Monkey King inside his own ultimate or simply walk out of the circle, re-engaging on their own terms. Both scenarios are bad for Sniper, who needs a stable frontline to create space for him to attack from a safe distance. Monkey King's all-in, diving playstyle does the opposite; he creates chaos in a specific spot, often leaving his backline vulnerable while he takes his own fight.

This fundamental clash in positioning defines their mid-game. Monkey King will find an opening and commit deep, but he provides no peel for Sniper, who is now exposed to any enemy hero that didn't get caught. A smart opponent will abuse this by sending one or two heroes to walk at Sniper, forcing him to reposition or die, while the rest of their team collapses on Monkey King. The duo lacks the lockdown to force focus fire, so they often end up fighting two separate battles at once, unable to effectively support each other.
