Monkey King + Spectre

Why this works

Setting up a Wukong's Command creates the exact kind of chaos Spectre loves. Enemies inside the circle are forced to deal with Monkey King, making them easy targets when Spectre uses Haunt to jump on a support in the back. While these two heroes don't offer much lockdown for each other, they excel at diving and isolating a single hero. Monkey King can leap onto a target from the trees, and a follow-up Haunt means that hero has nowhere to run and is forced to fight two very different kinds of damage dealers at once.

The game plan often feels like a relay race. Monkey King carries the mid-game, creating pressure and forcing enemy reactions while Spectre is free to farm. His constant threat prevents the other team from simply running at Spectre's side of the map and ending the game before she comes online. By the time Spectre is ready to join fights, her global presence makes every one of Monkey King's initiations more dangerous. The enemy team has to respect that a solo pick-off attempt by MK could instantly become a full team fight they are not prepared for.
