Oracle + Sniper

Why this works

Trying to burst down a backline Sniper can be a trap when Oracle is on the team. The synergy is almost entirely defensive, built around keeping Sniper alive to do his job. Oracle’s False Promise is the classic get-out-of-jail-free card, letting Sniper stand his ground and fire through what should be lethal damage. For enemies relying on magic burst to close the deal, Fate’s Edict can be equally frustrating, suddenly making Sniper immune to their spells. This forces opponents to overcommit resources and cooldowns for a single kill that might not even happen.

This pairing is very reactive, however, and doesn't create its own advantages. Its value depends entirely on whether the enemy team's plan is to jump Sniper with a specific type of damage that Oracle can negate. If the opposing draft has multiple gap-closers, overwhelming physical damage, or ways to control other targets, the Oracle save isn't as impactful. The duo can feel strong when the enemy plays into its hand, but offers little when they don't, leading to a very neutral outcome overall.
