Queen of Pain + Timbersaw

Why this works

Combining their damage is difficult because Queen of Pain wants to instantly delete a hero with Sonic Wave, while Timbersaw wants a long, drawn-out brawl where he can grind people down. This creates a core conflict in teamfights. QoP doesn't get the hard lockdown she needs from Timber to guarantee her combo, and he doesn't benefit from her blink-in, burst, blink-out style, as he’s often left alone to face the enemy team. Their damage types also overlap heavily, making item choices against them straightforward for the enemy.

This problem gets worse as the game progresses. An enemy team facing both heroes knows that building magic resistance is the top priority. A single Pipe of Insight can blunt the offensive power of two cores at once. Queen of Pain will find her full combo isn't enough to secure a kill, and Timbersaw will struggle to finish off targets that can survive the initial burst. This forces the rest of the team to provide all the physical damage and lockdown, creating a very predictable and inflexible draft.
