Razor + Witch Doctor

Why this works

Trying to keep an enemy inside a Death Ward often comes down to slows and stuns. Razor can help with Plasma Field's slow, making it harder for a target to simply walk out of Witch Doctor's ultimate. At the same time, Razor’s Static Link drains the primary target's attack damage, so they can’t easily turn and burst down the channeling Witch Doctor. In return, a Maledict on the target means all the damage from Razor’s Eye of the Storm gets amplified, helping to finish off anyone trying to survive the onslaught.

This duo’s effectiveness really hinges on the enemy draft. If they can catch a hero without an escape, the plan works. Razor acts as a durable front-liner, running at a key target to apply his spells while Witch Doctor channels from the backline. The problem is that many heroes can deal with this. A blink can negate the slow from Plasma Field, and a single stun on Witch Doctor breaks the whole combo. Because the setup isn't guaranteed and has clear counter-play, the lane doesn't consistently produce an advantage.
