How Timbersaw and Tinker perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Timbersaw and Tinker win 42.75% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 10,819 matches.
Splitting the map for farm often leaves one of these cores under-leveled. Tinker naturally absorbs a tremendous amount of resources by pushing out every lane with Rearm, leaving little safe gold or experience behind. This forces Timbersaw to play in dangerous areas before he is ready or simply fall behind on key items. Their teamfight goals also conflict. Timbersaw wants to dive into a committed brawl, but Tinker's constant split-pushing encourages the enemy to spread out and avoid the grouped-up fights Timbersaw needs. Lacking a traditional initiator to set up kills, both heroes can feel like they're playing separate games on the same map.
