Why this works

Picking both Sniper and Zeus on the same team creates a very greedy, high-damage draft that can feel risky. The main idea is to combine two of the longest-range damage dealers in the game. Zeus can soften up the entire enemy team with his magical burst, and his global ultimate reveals everyone's position. That vision is perfect for a hero like Sniper, who needs to stay safe on the edge of a fight. It gives him clear information on who to target with Assassinate or where to position so he isn't getting flanked, allowing both heroes to contribute damage from a very safe distance.

The game plan often relies on surviving the early stages. Both heroes are easy to gank and can fall behind if pressured. Once they have their ultimates, however, they can secure kills on retreating enemies from anywhere on the map, turning a lost fight into a trade. The shared weakness is a lack of mobility and durability. A team with good gap-close can easily dive the backline and eliminate both Sniper and Zeus before they can get their damage off. Their effectiveness really hinges on having a strong frontline to create space and peel for them.
