Abrams — Deadlock Win Rate, Counters & Synergies

Also known as: Bull

Abrams (Bull) in Deadlock: win rate, pick rate, top counters and best teammates, from Batru's recent-match pipeline.

Abrams counters & matchups

Squishy skill-shot heroes hate closing distance against Abrams. Sinclair, Mina, and Venator all want space and clean angles, and Abrams removes both by walking through their poke, sustaining with his lifesteal, and grabbing them out of position. Once he's on top of them, their fragile bodies fold. The problem comes against heroes who kite and burst him faster than he heals. Seven, Victor, and Graves can chunk his health bar or disengage before his charge ever connects, so his sustain never gets rolling. Draft tip: pick Abrams into fragile backline lineups, avoid him when the enemy has strong burst and mobility.

Abrams synergies

Abrams wants a follow-up threat who punishes the targets he pins down. He's the one who dives in, soaks damage, and locks a key enemy in place, which is exactly the opening Seven needs to land his heavy area damage without being interrupted. Abrams eats the aggro up front while Seven pumps damage from behind. What Abrams brings is initiation and a frontline that refuses to die quickly, buying his carry the seconds needed to turn a fight decisively in your favor.
