Squishy skill-shot heroes hate closing distance against Abrams. Sinclair, Mina, and Venator all want space and clean angles, and Abrams removes both by walking through their poke, sustaining with his lifesteal, and grabbing them out of position. Once he's on top of them, their fragile bodies fold. The problem comes against heroes who kite and burst him faster than he heals. Seven, Victor, and Graves can chunk his health bar or disengage before his charge ever connects, so his sustain never gets rolling.
