Infernus — Deadlock Win Rate, Counters & Synergies

Infernus in Deadlock: win rate, pick rate, top counters and best teammates, from Batru's recent-match pipeline.

Infernus counters & matchups

Stacking burn onto squishier laners is where Infernus thrives. Sinclair and Mina want to play a controlled, poke-heavy lane, but they melt once the flame damage over time is ticking and they can't disengage fast enough to escape it. Bebop leans on landing hooks, and constant chip pressure keeps him from setting up. The trouble comes against heroes who out-sustain or out-trade the burn window. Seven, Victor, and Graves all bring the durability or ranged control to punish Infernus while the fire ramps, and they don't fold to early aggression. Draft tip: pick Infernus into fragile lane duos, avoid him into heavy sustain and range.

Infernus synergies

Infernus wants a partner who can lock targets down long enough for the burn to fully cook. Seven fits that well, since holding an enemy in place turns a short flame tick into a full damage-over-time payout while they can't move to safety. Infernus in turn softens groups so Seven's follow-up finishes clean, and the early lane pressure buys tempo for both to snowball. He brings sustained area damage that keeps enemies from committing, opening space for a burst-heavy teammate to close.
