Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Bane wins the Bane vs Ember Spirit matchup: Bane beats Ember Spirit in 51.26% of 11,308 ranked matches.
Locking down a hero as mobile as Ember Spirit is often the key to beating him, and Bane provides a direct answer. Fiend's Grip is the kind of long-duration, single-target hold that prevents Ember from using Sleight of Fist or Fire Remnant to get away. Even a pre-emptive Nightmare can be enough to set up a gank. This advantage is only slight because a good Ember Spirit will prioritize items to counter this exact threat. Once he has a Black King Bar or a Linken's Sphere, Bane has a much harder time finding his window, turning the matchup into a tense game of cat and mouse over cooldowns.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
