Dealing with Broodmother's army is a classic problem, but Paralyzing Cask can find a lot of value bouncing between her and her spiders. The real threat, though, is Maledict. Once she’s cursed, any damage Broodmother takes from right-clicks or spells gets amplified, causing her to pop much faster than she’d expect. This combo from Witch Doctor provides a reliable way to punish her for diving towers or overextending with her spiderlings, turning her own swarm against her when she tries to commit.

The matchup often comes down to positioning and vision. Broodmother excels at hunting slow, fragile heroes, and Witch Doctor is a perfect target. Using her webs to move around the map, she can easily find an angle to run him down and kill him before he can get his spells off. If Witch Doctor gets caught alone while warding or rotating, he has almost no way to escape her constant pressure and slows.
