Clinkz vs Huskar

How this matchup plays

Fighting a low-health Huskar usually means dealing with his massive magic resistance from Berserker's Blood. Clinkz bypasses this problem entirely. His damage from Tar Bomb and Burning Barrage is physical, so Huskar's primary defensive tool does nothing to stop the burst. That slow from Tar Bomb also makes it hard for Huskar to stay on top of Clinkz or run away once he gets low. The fight becomes a race to kill, and Clinkz deals a damage type that Huskar is not naturally prepared to handle when he's at his most dangerous.

This dynamic plays out as a duel of initiation. Clinkz wants to use Skeleton Walk to find a good position, open with his burst, and kill Huskar before he can respond. Huskar's goal is to see Clinkz first, close the distance with Life Break, and immediately use Inner Fire to disarm him. If Huskar gets an early lead, he can itemize to survive the physical burst and win these fights. However, the basic interaction of their kits means Clinkz often has a slight upper hand in those critical mid-game encounters.
