Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.

Trying to find the right target in a teamfight becomes a nightmare for the Doom player. Your entire game plan revolves around using the Doom ultimate to disable a key enemy, but Phantom Lancer makes this nearly impossible. He constantly surrounds himself with illusions, and a quick Doppelganger can easily cause you to waste your longest cooldown on a fake. A misplaced ultimate is often a lost fight. While some of Doom's area damage from Scorched Earth can help a little, it's not enough to deal with the sheer number of illusions Phantom Lancer creates later on. He fundamentally breaks your strategy by simply existing, turning your most powerful single-target spell into a high-risk guess.
