Drow Ranger vs Terrorblade

How this matchup plays

Picking Terrorblade into a Drow Ranger feels like setting yourself up for a hard game, and it’s no surprise they function poorly as allies either. Terrorblade builds huge amounts of armor from his agility, which is usually his main defense against physical carries. Drow Ranger’s Marksmanship simply ignores a portion of that armor, making her damage stick far more than it should. On top of that, Frost Arrows provide a constant slow that makes it incredibly difficult for Terrorblade or his illusions to ever close the distance and connect with their attacks.

From the start of the game, Drow can create pressure and control the pace, while Terrorblade is forced to find safe farm away from her. This often means his team is fighting at a disadvantage while he tries to catch up. Even if he gets farmed, the matchup doesn't get better. Drow can still kite him endlessly, and Gust is a perfect tool to interrupt a Sunder or prevent him from engaging. Terrorblade is left hoping his team can lock her down for him, because a direct confrontation is a losing battle.
