Huskar vs Lich

How this matchup plays

Fighting at low health is central to Huskar's game plan, but it's a death sentence against Lich. A single Frost Blast can slow Huskar enough for a kill, punishing him for the low-life aggression he relies on. The real problem, though, is Chain Frost. Huskar's Life Break puts him right on top of his target, creating the perfect setup for a devastating ultimate bounce that can kill him from half health. Even the protective Frost Shield is a problem, as the extra armor makes it much harder for Huskar to burn down a single hero with his spears.

This pressure starts in the lane, where Lich's constant nukes can make it difficult for Huskar to get the farm he needs to snowball. Later on, Huskar is forced to play around Lich's positioning in every teamfight. He wants to jump on a support, but doing so often means he's diving into a trap. To have a chance, Huskar needs to get a Black King Bar very early and hope his team can help him burst Lich down before his spells can turn the fight.
