How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other is a calculated risk. Huskar is built to jump on a target and burn them down with rapid attacks, a strategy that often relies on surprising the enemy. Razor’s Static Link is a direct answer to this plan, draining away the very damage Huskar needs to be a threat. If Razor can attach and hold the link, Huskar’s aggression gets turned against him, leaving him weak and exposed. This makes direct, head-on confrontations between them a dangerous proposition for both.

The lane and subsequent fights often boil down to a game of positioning and timing. A Huskar who can bait out the link or attack from an unexpected angle can still secure a kill.
