Huskar vs Sniper

How this matchup plays

Picking a core to run at the enemy backline is a tough call when Sniper is already on the board. Huskar's game plan revolves around using Life Break to close the gap and then fighting at low health, but Sniper's kit is designed to make that impossible. The extreme attack range means Huskar can get shredded before he even reaches his target. If he does manage to jump in, Shrapnel's slow and the knockback from a Hurricane Pike will keep him from ever sticking on top of Sniper, leaving him exposed and easily finished off by an Assassinate.

Huskar’s best shot is to completely dominate the lane and snowball before Sniper gets key items online. Once the laning stage ends, Sniper dictates the pace of the game, farming safely and controlling fights from a distance. For Huskar to be effective, he needs his team to provide all the lockdown and gap close required to reach Sniper, which is a huge ask. More often, Huskar is forced to dive a less important target while Sniper stands safely in the back, freely hitting him until he falls.
