Huskar vs Templar Assassin

How this matchup plays

Facing Huskar as Templar Assassin feels like your main defensive tool is always on cooldown. Huskar’s Burning Spear applies a damage-over-time effect that rapidly eats through Refraction charges, often stripping the entire shield with a single cast. This leaves Templar Assassin exposed to his follow-up physical damage without her primary means of survival. Her burst combo from Meld relies on those Refraction charges staying up to survive a counter-attack, but against Huskar, that's never a guarantee.

This dynamic defines the laning phase, where Huskar can bully and control the pace. Later on, even if Templar Assassin gets the jump, Huskar is naturally tough to bring down instantly and thrives in low-health fights where his Berserker's Blood takes over. TA’s best bet is to avoid him, use Psionic Traps for vision and control, and farm aggressively to hit an item timing where she can burst him faster than he can react. Huskar, meanwhile, wants to force these direct fights and snowball before her damage gets out of hand.
