Juggernaut vs Medusa

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map's tempo often tilts this matchup. Juggernaut can fight and take objectives much earlier, using Blade Fury for aggression and Healing Ward to sustain pushes. This shrinks the map for Medusa, who prefers to farm multiple big items before grouping. Juggernaut isn't trying to burst her early; instead, he focuses on taking her team's towers and controlling their jungle. This strategy starves Medusa of the resources she needs to scale, forcing her team onto the back foot before they are ready to fight.

The game becomes a race against the clock. Juggernaut’s team will try to force the issue in the mid-game, grouping to secure objectives and build a lead. In response, Medusa’s team has to play to delay, protecting her farm and avoiding unfavorable fights. If they can drag things out, Medusa eventually becomes incredibly difficult for Juggernaut to handle, as her tankiness from Mana Shield can overwhelm him. Her Stone Gaze is also a constant threat that can punish an over-aggressive Omnislash.
