Juggernaut vs Monkey King

How this matchup plays

Picking a melee carry into Monkey King can feel like a gamble, but Juggernaut brings a specific set of answers. The most important interaction is Blade Fury's magic immunity, which completely negates the stun from Boundless Strike. This breaks Monkey King's primary trading combo at all stages of the game. Later on, Juggernaut’s Omnislash becomes a hard counter to Wukong's Command. Casting it makes Juggernaut invulnerable, letting him survive inside the circle and often find and kill the real Monkey King, who is trapped by his own ability.

This dynamic makes the lane much safer for Juggernaut than for other carries. He can spin to escape ganks or disengage from trades whenever Monkey King gets Jingu Mastery charged. As the game progresses, Monkey King is forced to play around Juggernaut’s cooldowns. He can’t confidently jump in because of Blade Fury, and using his ultimate is a huge risk if Omnislash is available. Monkey King’s best hope is to catch Juggernaut without his spells, but Juggernaut can simply play defensively until they are ready again.
