Juggernaut vs Io

How this matchup plays

Committing Omnislash on an Io often ends in frustration. A well-timed Relocate can teleport Io to safety in the middle of the ultimate, leaving Juggernaut standing there with his most important cooldown completely wasted. Outside of that specific interaction, Io is still slippery. The movement speed from Tether helps Io and its ally kite away from Blade Fury, and the slow it applies makes it hard for Juggernaut to stick to a target. Juggernaut's aggression can be consistently dampened by Io's ability to create distance and save allies.

The fight between these two heroes becomes a mind game centered on their long cooldowns. Juggernaut looks for opportunities when Relocate is down or tries to catch Io far from any tetherable ally. A patient Juggernaut might even hold Omnislash, waiting for the Io to use Relocate for another purpose. On the other side, Io has to play cautiously, treating Relocate as a trump card against Juggernaut's commitment. The outcome depends less on the heroes themselves and more on which player can successfully bait the other's key spell.
