Medusa vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Controlling Medusa's damage output is the key to beating her, which makes Razor's Static Link feel like a direct counter. The drain can leave her hitting like a creep in fights she can't escape. But Medusa is built to survive. Mana Shield makes her tough to burst, and she can often walk away from the link or use Stone Gaze to punish Razor for getting too close. She can also farm from a safe distance with Mystic Snake, making it hard for Razor to apply his pressure consistently during the laning stage.

The game becomes a battle of tempo. Razor’s team wants to force engagements and take objectives while Static Link provides a huge advantage. They need to snowball before Medusa gets too strong. Medusa's plan is the opposite: avoid direct confrontation, use Split Shot to accelerate her farm across the map, and hit her item timings. Once she has a few core items, she can often survive the drain or even ignore Razor entirely, melting his teammates while he's focused on her.
