Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Winter Wyvern wins the Medusa vs Winter Wyvern matchup: Winter Wyvern beats Medusa in 52.32% of 8,907 ranked matches.
Using Winter's Curse on Medusa forces her own team to attack her, but her Mana Shield often means she survives the assault. The real impact depends on her teammates' damage output; if they lack physical burst, she'll walk away and potentially turn the fight with Stone Gaze. This makes the matchup a game of execution. Winter Wyvern excels at chipping away at Medusa's large health pool from a safe distance with Arctic Burn, and Cold Embrace can save a key ally from her focus fire. However, Medusa's sheer durability and lategame power mean that if Wyvern's team can't successfully isolate and burst her, she will eventually overwhelm them.
