Anti-Mage vs Io

How this matchup plays

Punishing a split-pushing Anti-Mage becomes a bit more manageable with an Io on the opposing team. Anti-Mage wants to cut waves and farm aggressively in dangerous parts of the map, but Relocate offers a direct tool to contest this strategy. Io can bring an ally, ideally with a disable, straight to Anti-Mage's location to attempt a gank. This threat can force the Anti-Mage to play more cautiously, potentially slowing down his farm and delaying his crucial items. While Tether is also annoying in lane, the global pressure from Relocate is what defines this matchup.

This interaction encourages Io's team to play proactively, constantly looking for a pick-off on a solo Anti-Mage.
