Monkey King vs Oracle

How this matchup plays

Trying to build up Jingu Mastery stacks feels difficult against an Oracle. The moment Monkey King jumps in, Oracle can apply Fate's Edict, disarming him completely. This stops all right-clicks, preventing any Jingu charges from accumulating. This is especially frustrating during Wukong's Command; while the soldiers will still attack, Monkey King himself can't contribute damage or use a charged Boundless Strike to stun everyone. If an ally does get caught by the initial burst, Oracle's False Promise provides a safety net, delaying all damage and giving his team a wide window to counter-attack or reposition.

This forces Monkey King to play around Oracle’s cooldowns. He can’t reliably jump on a priority target if Oracle is positioned safely in the back, holding his spells. Monkey King has to either try to bait out the disarm or wait for a major teamfight where Oracle might be forced to use his abilities on someone else. The matchup becomes a game of patience, but since Oracle's defensive tools so directly answer Monkey King’s offensive plan, he tends to have the upper hand in these engagements.
