Shiv Counters

Squishy backliners like Sinclair, Mina, and Bebop hate a diver who refuses to die. Shiv's healing and the way his knives ramp bleed damage let him stay on their face, and once his rage builds he ignores burst that would kill a normal hero. The trouble comes against Seven, Graves, and McGinnis, who wall off space and out-sustain the trade. McGinnis turrets punish his commit, Graves has the beef to win the extended brawl, and Seven can zone him off before he lands his finisher. Draft tip: pick Shiv into fragile carries who lack escape, and avoid him into entrenched, high-health lockdown lineups.
