Pugna Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Pugna in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Pugna, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Pugna is an anti-caster pusher whose Nether Blast melts towers and heroes, Nether Ward punishes enemy spellcasting, and Life Drain sustains or executes. It dominates spell-spamming, immobile heroes — Timbersaw literally kills himself on Nether Ward, and Elder Titan, Mars and Tinker get out-pushed. Pugna is countered by physical carries and pickoff that ignore its wards: Spectre, Wraith King and Nyx Assassin out-scale or burst its fragile frame. Draft tip: Pugna is a brutal anti-spell and tower-push core into caster-heavy drafts; it's weaker into physical hard-carries and pickoff line-ups.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Pugna hardest are Wraith King, Nyx Assassin and Night Stalker — Pugna wins only 44.8%, 46.0% and 46.3% of ranked matches against them.
